Composer Tim Hinck teams up with Ballet Esprit for two major events in the 2024-2025 performance season. Sharing a connection to work that is elemental, raw, and yet classically refined, these artists are joining forces for two unique events in August. In preparation for these performances, Hinck and Ballet Esprit invite you to be a part of the creation of these works by helping guide a public composition and improvisation session!

Hinck, whose work was recently described by one delighted conductor as “introducing me to new sounds” will compose two pieces based, in part, on material produced at this open session with the audience! The dancers and musicians led by Yvonne will explode onto the stage with their trademark primal energy and refined technique in two performances in August of ballets choreographed to Hinck’s new compositions.
